And they fucked over the people who paid.
And they fucked over the people who paid.
Several years and new game later...yea they sure fucked us. They fucked us good. It's a free game for anyone who wants it. No different than Microsofts Gold Games on XBL.
And they fucked over the people who paid.
What's wrong with that if you paid a few years ago? Old games being free is awesome.
And they fucked over the people who paid.
Yeah, like Valve did with Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal, those fucking scumbags. /sarcasm
I'm glad they did this and it's something I've been wanting. It really makes sense because the Battlefield games aren't sequels in the traditional sense like Halo 2 or Star Wars Episode V. Battlefield games are more like 'replacements' because they are mostly updated multiplayer with better graphics, rendering the old ones useless.
Yeah, like Valve did with Left 4 Dead 2 and Portal, those fucking scumbags. /sarcasm
Yeah, because those were "Triple A" titles priced at or above 60 dollars.
Yeah, because those were "Triple A" titles priced at or above 60 dollars.
Left 4 Dead 2 was, it was full price on its launch.

How could anyone forget TF2
Red Orchestra 2, anyone?
Bought TF2 two weeks before the uber update. Still not seeing what the big deal was.
Red Orchestra 2, anyone?
Red Orchestra 2 is free?
Red Orchestra 2 is free?
It was, for a day.
It was, for a day.
I see, I just wondered why the guy I quoted said that, like RO2 became free for everyone all the time.
And they fucked over the people who paid.
Not really, its only the base game which is free. If you want the extra gamemodes and maps you still gotta pay for them. Unlike me who got them all on launch for a cheaper overall price.
And they fucked over the people who paid.
Boo hoo hoo. TBH, the only time I ever got pissed was TF2, and that was because it injected a bunch of dumbasses who don't know how to do anything. In Battlefield, this is probably a good thing, because now they'll never see your missles coming.
I'M NOW JERKING MY COCK FURIOUSLY TO THE ORIGINS GOD yea ok it's a good offer
Better than Plants VS Zombies...
I see, I just wondered why the guy I quoted said that, like RO2 became free for everyone all the time.
neither were L4D2 or Portal
neither were L4D2 or Portal
Then why did he say that? D:, me confused idiot.
Then why did he say that? D:, me confused idiot.
Red Orchestra 2 had an offer similiar to Left 4 Dead 2 , Portal and Battlefield 3. That is, game is free, register a copy of it, and it's yours to keep forever If anything TF2 doesn't have anything to do with this, as it became F2P, and was not on limited free offering
And they fucked over the people who paid.
Yeah nearly 3 fucking years ago. When you buy a big MP game on launch it's because outside of bugs, launch play is some of the best ever. People who just now start playing will have a much less enjoyable experience probably since they are going up against people who already have played for years and the kind of undiscovered strategies and such is gone. The percentage of people who bought BF3 on launch or when it was still a high price and still play it are likely low. And those people probably moved onto BF4. AKA, they had their time.

They are all bugs of the past A mechanic has changed? Too bad, can't try it out for youself
