What is this game, really?
In Just Cause 2 I became bored incredibly fast. The AI is nothing special, and no significant story... It's just you doing stunts in a big barren waste of civilization.
The multiplayer mod was pretty great though.

it's a giant sandbox for you to decide what to do in
you don't need a story if you just want to have fun and play with some explosive toys. yeah it's not for everyone but it is exactly what it wants to be.
a big bombastic sandbox with tons of things to blow up and play with as well as an [B]actual story[/B] that is easily forgotten or written off if you don't want to pay attention to it. But JC3 has an actual story with some effort put into it.
But how much of a sandbox is it really? It's a graphically nice game with vehicles, gliding, and a grappling hook.
These are admittedly fun, but you can't do very much with them once you've played for half an hour.

If you were bored in JC2 quickly then the same thing will happen just as quickly in JC3.

I have just under 40 hours played in JC3 so far and I'm still finding new and enjoyable things to do. It's kinda got an Ubisoft open world feel to it (as in there's one main objective and everything else is very trivial) but there's definitely plenty to do IMO.

I mean if you lack the imagination to make those things fun on their own, then yes, it's boring as fuck
But I can't think of a single "Entertaining" sandbox game, unless you bring the imagination to make it fun.

Heh, I spent about 15 minutes in the multiplayer mod before getting bored. 74 hours in JC2 and 44 hours in JC3.

I spent an hour when the game came out just hanging cars from walls
game is definately running better for me, I assume thanks to this patch, explosions dont destroy my fps anymore
