There's tons of options out there, I'm just not sure which one the sensible people at FP like to use the most.
So, what do you guys use to clean your registry?

I use CCleaner, I read that it's not really that great as a registry cleaner, as in, it doesn't fix everything.

I think I used RegScrubber or something a while ago but it was bugging me so I zapped it.

Um I can use Linux just fine and have plenty of times.
I said no because this is the Windows forum. Going around just telling people to install Linux to fix whatever issue they have with Windows is just stupid.

I went to go try it out and got this: We're sorry. This version of the Windows Live OneCare safety scanner doesn't work with your Web browser or operating system.
So I went to IE and it just continuously failed to install.
Yeah uh, it's a bit of a bitch to get working. You need IE, then you need admin for the install, then you also need to use the beta version if you are on vista or newer. I think there was some extra step maybe? Dunno, Google around. T'was how I found out.
Maybe uh, having the site whitelisted for popups and possibly having it trusted? Dunno, can't remember.

Isn't it easier, safer and better to just slap CCleaner on your install then?
It's easier, but it's not necessarily safer nor better.
It used to work nicely though they just haven't updated it since the beta came out.
