WOO DEATH TOLL!!!!
Thank God I thought it was an encore mutation.
DEATH TOLL FUCK YES FUCK YES FUCK YES [editline]16th September 2011[/editline] It's like the best campaign of both games, why did they have to release it last!
I didn't even know that blood harvest was released. Why haven't I been playing more?
Well, Death Toll in L4D2 is nice and all... I am still going to miss L4D.
Death Toll is nice but I couldn't find laser pointers. Did anyone find some or are there none? Also was the gauntlet (unlimited zombie rush) in the fourth map also present in L4D1? I can't remember.
So, is L4D pretty much obsolete now?
So, is L4D pretty much obsolete now?
pretty much yeah
So, is L4D pretty much obsolete now?
It still has Crash Course and Last Stand
They fixed the non-stop spawning zombie bug in Blood Harvest. It was on the third level, near the bridge.
It still has Crash Course and Last Stand
and the ability to see your legs therefore adding to the immersion. What ever happened to that?
and the ability to see your legs therefore adding to the immersion. What ever happened to that?
I think seeing your body in a first-person game gives the impression that I am playing as a specific character, whereas seeing nothing makes me feel like I am part of the world.
I think seeing your body in a first-person game gives the impression that I am playing as a specific character, whereas seeing nothing makes me feel like I am part of the world.
worst excuse ever
I think seeing your body in a first-person game gives the impression that I am playing as a specific character, whereas seeing nothing makes me feel like I am part of the world.
But you ARE playing a specific character in L4D2.
Death Toll is in L4D2 now? When did this happen?
Legs were really weird in L4D1 anyway. Your body felt too disproportionate at times. That's probably the biggest reason why, besides getting in the way of actually looking down in the first place.
So, is L4D pretty much obsolete now?
Welcome to 2009.
L4D1 is pretty much obslete with the exception of The Last Stand. Crash Course has yet to be ported due to if you type 'map xxx' in the console, c8 being No Mercy, c10 being Death Toll, c9 is missing. So, Crash Course will be here soon. On another note, they should have said that the L4D1 Survivors now have their original animations back!
fuck animations, I want my weapon origins back. The uzi looked so much better in l4d1 than it did in l4d2. besides, where is my damn 1911 ?
I don't have either game installed right now, so I can't test it myself. Are the L4D1 maps pretty much just ports or did the rebuild the maps entirely? I ran l4d1 much better than 2 and want to know if I install 2 that the classic maps will be playable.

Generally speaking, you won't find much different than L4D1. Although performance-wise, might not make a difference.
I don't know what you guys are talking about, I still play L4D1 all the time. To be honest, I have more fun with it. I don't know why exactly, but I do.
played through death toll it's still missing the opening music bit and the church guy is gone
I don't know what you guys are talking about, I still play L4D1 all the time. To be honest, I have more fun with it. I don't know why exactly, but I do.
Perhaps it's because it has a completely different feel to it and feels much more simple with 3 guns and 3 special infected. So I suppose it's not completely obsolete, unless Valve add an option to remove certain special infected or weapons.
played through death toll it's still missing the opening music bit and the church guy is gone
That's because it's under Beta testing, whenever Valve releases L4D1 campaigns to L4D2 you should expect them to have bugs. And this is when http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=12131 and http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=11567 come in (for a while), now to wait for a Death Toll music fix
and the ability to see your legs therefore adding to the immersion. What ever happened to that?
It was apparently removed because when you looked down to see your legs, it looked like your arms were attached to your neck.
played through death toll it's still missing the opening music bit and the church guy is gone
CHURCH GUY IS GONE?
How hard would it be to re-implement the old animations for L4D2?
