I've tried it off and on since the earliest public playtests and always find myself drifting away after a couple of weeks at the most.
It's got some incredibly solid movement and shooting for an indie title and the art style is great imo but the gameplay just always ends up being "Grind resources to build stuff you unlock by grinding XP".
Has much even changed in maybe the last year? Last I played was just after they added the first group instance in (Blackwater Anomaly)
Sad to say I bought the founders pack for this a long long time ago because it showed so much potential and seemed to have a solid foundation, but most of what they seem to do is keep reworking their existing content over and over and not getting much closer to that original vision of the game they had.
Its weird that there has been so little content release in 2-3 years as well, if I recall there's a pretty sizeable team working on the game.

They are adding 15x more content, stuff like OWPvP, raid bosses, new events, "jobs" which are kinda like traditional mmo quests I think. It will be fully known in 9 hours, when the early testing of release starts, only those who played before the launch announcement can participate or those who buy early access.
Let's hope there is more things to do now besides gathering materials, crafting, and PvP... because that's what I only experiance as the questing system sucked the last time I've played.
