I used to browse YT all the time, I was even able to watch in HD, but now it has slowed to the crawliest crawl that has ever crawled.
The front page itself takes ages to load, and clicking on a video usually goes to a blank screen. And, oh god, the videos. It takes half an hour to load a ten minute video in standard def. For now I assume it is a problem with YouTube and its already slow self, but perhaps it's something wrong with my computer.

YouTube is always slow, fucking always, I hate it. They should remove it and replace it with something better.

Maybe your internet connection is being throttled, run a speedcheck. Or something in the background is hogging resources.

:science: It's because youtube is going through a new update, but instead of shutting down youtube for a few hours they thought it would be acceptable to go on. Just yesterday I couldn't load pages properly, they ended up in scripted formats. :science:
