That's quite the bug. :v:

Damn, it was fun having conga parties in those pits.
Valve holding public beta gives them way more play testing than internal play test would. I doubt their internal group would have found how to get under the terrain as fast.

yeah everyone loves "that engineer" right.
Sweet. I really like Asteroid so far, I just can't wait to see it fully textured.

In my short time playing on the map, I've never seen an engie set up down there.
I can't see it being all that irritating either, the engies who turtle up at their bases' intel thing on the other hand are really annoying.

Can't see your entire team teleporting into a pit only to have to kill themselves as annoying?
well since everyone takes the teleporter already set up in the respawn room, I can't see it being that much of an issue.
Those kinds of traps only work once anyway (or at least you'd hope so).

through personal experience, pub tf2 players aren't all too bright. I've done something similar in the past (albeit in a much more harmless fashion) and sometimes they just get confused as to which teleporter is which, meaning you could just place an entrance right next to the legitimate one and some people would end up using it.

Some engineer thought it'd be funny to place a tele right in front of the lazers.
Needless to say he got voted off pretty quick.
