• Display Driver Freezing

So i've noticed that my display driver has been freezing up ever since i built my new computer. The screen goes black for 3 seconds then restores back to normal and i get a little notice in the tray saying "display driver stopped responding and has recovered". Here's my specs: - intel i5 2500k - 4gb ram - GeForce GTX 560 Ti I JUST updated the graphics card driver the other day (it automatically popped up and asked me) and that still didn't fix the issues. The freezing happens mainly when i'm using firefox and i open pages with lots of images, or something like that. Never happens when i am playing TF2 and other games. Any ideas?
Get drive sweeper and remove the driver compleetly. Then reinstal.
It's a very common problem. About 2/3 of the Driver Support page is full of this: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showforum=213 I had to reinstall the latest drivers about 5 times before it actually worked (I'm running a 570.) Alternatively, take a look at this: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=211808
