What Matters More: Russians Hacking Emails OR The Content of Emails?

Can someone please explain this to me? I followed the election closely and when the emails were first leaked right before/during the DNC, I was shocked and appalled at what they showed. (Especially as a Bernie supporter)

Ever since then it seems that the Russians are being targeted for hurting Hillary's chances, but was it not the actual content that hurt her? (I do not deny it was the Russians who were involved)

The Russians actually hacking the e-mails is the prime concern.

Domestic corruption is one thing, and not at all a thing that should be ignored.

However, a hostile foreign country actually interfering in your country's domestic affairs to influence the outcome of a democratic election is far, far worse. In fact, throughout history, such things have been considered a justifiable cause to start a war. The fucking UN considers it an act of war. Only, with nuclear weapons, it isn't that simple. To put this in perspective, imagine Russia as someone you deeply dislike coming to your house, stealing your shit, and then taking a huge dump on the floor. Then they wave a gun in your face when you tell them to fuck off.

America's done this a ridiculous amount of times in other, weaker countries, because they can't fight back. Now Russia's basically come in and kicked the hornet's nest. It's a big, BIG fucking deal, because it's a sign that Putin's ready to risk an all-out war with the USA. Even a nuclear one. All in a bid to put his puppet on the seat of power.

That's what the situation is, on a global scale. The Cold War just started up again as if it had never stopped, and people consider the DNC's corruption a bigger deal?

Those people need to take a look at the big picture.
