I hadn't thought about it before I built it but I have 4 fans with only 1 sysfan on the mobo. Is there a way to control the speed of these pwm fans? My friend suggested a PCI-E to sysfan but this mobo only has 1 PCI and it's filled with my GPU. Since these fans are connected to the PSU they're running at full speed all the time and it is very very loud. I made this build small because college.
Go buy a fan controller. goes into the 5.25" bay usually.
The Prodigy case only has one bay drive and I chose to put a fan in there. I'm at my dorm right now so it would be better if I didn't have to take apart my computer. My CPU fan cooler is huge and so is my 7970 so it is very crowded in there. It's a mistake I made. I overestimated the size of the case and underestimated the CPU cooler's size. If there's no work around I'll just get used to it.
Neither of the fans you linked are PWM fans, so they will run at full speed when connected to the motherboard regardless unless you change them manually in the bios or with something like speedfan. If they are just for pushing air around the case try some low noise adaptors (just inline resistors) to allow them to run at lower voltages. However some fans can actually be louder when undervolted so be aware of this. With no spare bays you are going to be hard pushed for a fan controller, unless you get creative and mod your case. You can buy some PCI bracket fan controllers but they are quite rare.
