I have recently built a new computer with one 5770 in it, it has a 650 watt power supply (Corsair TX650W) it has two hard drives, one optical drive, five fans and an overclocked I5, I am wondering if I will meet the energy requirements to add another 5770.
its a bit low, but just look up the power needs of the card and theres your answer
it should be fine
Which one do you have?

It might just about work. You need to make sure it has enough connections for 2Gpu's though.
Yea, you're fine.
No issues there.

By the way, from what I've seen, dual 5770s > single 5870. Cheaper too.

Cause Corsair makes the only 650w PSU's.

Thanks for all of the replies, I wasn't really planning on getting two in the first place but 5870's were out of stock so it had to do. It should probably be equivalent to one 5870 anyways.

Why didn't you just be patient and wait another couple of weeks.
I guess a single 5870 is more efficient, too.
more than enough 2 5770 will do fine on 530w
