Ah yes, the spellbooks. Now THAT added a big ol' thing to the game, sort of like Mario Kart items in an FPS. I wonder if they've added new spells to the rotation?
Oh that's interesting. I remember seeing spell books, but I needed some kind of item that I never got.

That's kind of a shame, IMO. Where's the novelty of them being Halloween items at all now?

So many people bitched about the restriction I'm not surprised they added in some kind of work around.

Why is the novelty gone if it''s intended for server owners to use with Halloween maps, which tend to be run by at least one person at any given point in the year anyway? :v:
Besides, plenty of them used mods to make halloween items appear at all times of the year, anyway.
some of the halloween items were pretty high quality and not too spooky, theme wise, so I'm glad to see such a measure in place
Too bad I wasn't around TF2 last Halloween so I didn't get a spell magazine.
