Great to see they're going at a quicker pace than CKII and that they're expanding on the only part of EUIV I'm good at, but if they charge $15 for pirates and trading companies I think I'll pass.

Of course it'll be around that price, that's the price they set for Conquest of Paradise, so it's likely that they'll be cnsistant.

It all depends on the size of the expansion. CK2's for example range from 5€ to 15€.

Except Paradox don't do that anymore since CK2.

That was true for older Paradox games, but with CK2 the base game receives the same updates that the expansions do. The player is just unable to access parts of the new content without owning the expansions.
Since EU4 uses the exact same 'modular DLC/expansions' system that CK2 uses, I'm pretty sure it'll be exactly the same.
