So I just started having this problem (I've tried turning it on and off, mind you) where my keyboard and mouse would randomly disconnect for a few seconds. It would happen once, or it would repeat itself a few times. The LEDs on my Dell basic keyboard (Num lock, caps lock, scroll lock) would start flashing all except the ones active, which would be static on at all times. Then the key I had pressed when it disconnected will stay like that until I hear a sound of it reconnecting. Everything freezes for less than a second and then it's back to normal.
It makes gaming really horrible.

Are your mouse and keyboard wireless or wired? Are you sure your PSU is providing enough power?
They are wired. And the problem appeared just now, and I haven't made any changes as I can recall.
The maximum power output of a PSU decreases over time, so it could just be down to wear. You should try plugging in additional USB devices and see if they are able to draw enough power.
Is it possible to claim warranty for this? I think I still have warranty so I can get a new one.
