Not really a "scam", been there since day 1 and if you spent two seconds checking prices you would notice it.
Its just like real life.
People who are lazy with their money end up paying more.
When I saw this, I thought of those bloody penny-trolls on Amazon and the Steam Marketplace; putting on items for a penny and driving the price of things down. FUCK those guys, though I will say that Blizzard probably deserves this kind of bad luck, even if it probably harms the users more.
