Today I recieved a Saxon Hale signed comic from Valve, and I was extremely excited and happy to be able to open it myself, because it's 100% mine, but to my horror upon arriving home from exams, my mum had clearly opened and feebly attempted a re-seal the package. what in the fuck?!?!?! And she attempted to do the ole cover up questions such as "You got a package from America(note: my mum knows nothing about valve, so she'd have to examine my mail to figure this out) and she asked "What is it anyway?", under the whole excitement I didn't notice that question, which was before I had even got to my mail and opened it. i didn't notice it had already been opened until I got to my room and noticed it was easily openable.
The letter was clearly addressed to me personally, it had travelled over 7,000 km to get to me and my mother thinks she has the right to open it? I havent called her out on it yet, but is this illegal? Because if it is I will hang this over here like bait on a hook.
I may be only 15 years old, and I do live under her roof(well technically my divorced father's roof), but come on, where the fuck is the privacy??? And I'm not the only person, she has opened my (24 year old) brother's post also.
Is she fuckin phycho??? If I even get nosey and look at bills etc. I get in trouble, so what in the fuck??
God dammit, women do not get how the world works, and don't think logically, or is that just my mum???

Also, In no way des this ruin how awesome the comic is, but it slightly dampens the experience for me as I like when I get things, that I get to see them first and open them first(Is this OCD??) and I feel betrayed, what the hell did she think it was??? that Valve is a porn site or somethin??

Just found out through an Irish forum, that what she did is infact illegal.
