• Does the average teenager have dyslexia, or are they just plain stupid?

Someone was talking about Onomatopoeia's, and they spelt it as onomatopeys. I asked him "Did you mean Onomatopoeia?" and he turns around asking "wats dat?" and I describe what it is. Next thing I know, everyone is raging at me, calling me a grammar nazi nerd. This is what I said: You mean 'Onomatopoeia'? An Onomatopoeia is imitating the sound of a creature Such as 'The dog goes woof' On-oh-mat-oh-pee-ah (The O after the P is silent)
They want to feel superior to you.
Everyone was text typing.
Dyslexia, proberly. [sp]look at the poll before rating abc fucktards[/sp]
They just don't CARE unlike you, nerde
I'm assuming that you're also a teenager based on the point of view you wrote from. Yes, the average teenager is just plain stupid. It's why I hate pretty much everyone at my school. They don't value education at all, and they're the kids that are going to be worthless later in life.
Yeah, I am a teenager. BUT I got a Band 8 in Grammar/Punctuation/Spelling. The rest of my school got Band 6.
not everyone is a nerd
the fuck is a band
They just don't CARE unlike you, nerde
I was not correcting his spelling, I just wanted to make sure him and I were on the same page. [editline]12:32PM[/editline]
the fuck is a band
The Australian Term for A, B, C, D, E and F. Band 8 is a B- to a B+
Proberly?
The wonders of a spell checker? Also, proberly?
Definantly.

Proberly?
We can't run around saying someone has Dyslexia if they make a mistake, so we make the assumption of 'proberly'
Stupid. Definantly.
:irony:
Band 6. WOW. Your school is full of more retards than mine if they all got D's. I don't really know if I'm transferring that correctly though.
Grammar/Punctuation/Spelling score is also determained on literacy. I suppose they suck at that too.
America has a problem with illiteracy. So no.
Reminds me of a time when some kid was like "Man, my teacher are fat", then i was said "Don't you mean is fat", then he called me a nerd for correcting him

Dyslexia, like ADD, is over diagnosed to the point that it seems everyone says they have it. It exists, but in most cases it's just mis-diagnosed laziness or stupidity. True dyslexics have more problems than misspelling words, especially in reading. I know this from first-hand experience, having quite a few dyslexics in my family.
I like how you spelled "definitely" wrong.
And I don't mean EVERYONE, I mean the kids that choose to be dumb. They don't even try, because they don't even care. Those are the kids I want to beat the living fuck out of.
This, so much this. Back in my middle school, it seemed everyone was like that. This one time I was in science class and we were watching a video from the Discovery channel (actually interesting), and this little fucker kept messing with the audio when the teacher wasn't paying attention. God I wanted to fucking punch him.
I used to have lysdexia! :pseudo:
just stupid man and it's not just spellin too its other stuff too
just stupid man and it's not just spellin too its other stuff too
Like grammar.
I used to have lysdexia! :pseudo:
Smae I also had a problem with procrastination, or at least my teachers told me so. I never got around to looking up what that word meant...
I think lots of people SAY they have dyslexia and/or ADD when really they're just absent-minded and hyperactive. Everyone mixes up letters and words sometimes.
I have dyslexia so I shall vote for it [editline]03:02AM[/editline] Runs in my family
Stupidity. Example:Me.
So a dyslexic man walks into a bra.

It's a word that is constructed to give similar sound or visual meaning to the object to which it applies. For instance it could be as simple as a clock going tick-tock but it could also refer to a babbling creek, the assonance of the b's resembling the chaotic sound of the creek. At least in the way I was taught. Oh and is the poll supposed to be ironic or did you seriously misspell two basic words while trying to look like a pretentious grammar Nazi?
