So i've been thinking of getting a new graphics card for my PC since my current one is slowly getting outdated. My current one is AMD Radeon HD Series 6900. My question is since not all graphics cards come in the same size, how could i check how big graphics card really fits into my PC? My pc's kinda large actually, but is there a way other than opening the PC?

you look up the size of the card you're buying
you open up the pc and use this thing called a measuring tape
ok
The only other way without opening it up is if you get the stats out of the case manufacturer's website. But really, GPU length is almost never a problem except in subcompact cases.
^ My 7970 would not fit in my HAF. It hits the hard drive cage.
Does it not have a removable drive cage? Even if it doesn't, it should still fit. 10.5" is nearing the upper limit for most cases, but even a m-itx Prodigy will fit an 11.5. HAF must just be a little small.

Hell, I once crammed a 680 into a Silverstone SG-05, that was fun.
