"Mech Warrior spiritual successor Battletech".
It hurts.
It hurts.
I'm not even as big into Battletech and Mech Warrior as I wish I was but even I cringed at that. Regardless I'm really excited to see how this turns out.
It hurts.
It's also not even a spiritual successor in terms of gameplay.
I wish mech warrior mercenaries was remade in some modern engine
I love the MechWarrior 4 singleplayer campaign so meh, if it's a multiplayer oriented game I'll probably just pass.

I really enjoy mechwarrior, and mechwarrior 2 was my first PC game, but Ive also played a little battletech and I gotta say I enjoy both.
I played a lot of Mech Commander 2, so I'm really looking forward to this.
Err. What? Battletech came first, MechWarrior is just Battletech adapted to be a simulation game. If anything this new Battletech game is a spirital sucessor to Mech Commander.
Its going to have a open ended campaign so it seems like its going to have a shit ton of replay value.

I sure hope this will be good. MW3 and MW4: Mercs were two of my all-time favorite games. (Yes, I know those were first-mech and this new one is third-mech) MWO was so boring after a relatively short period.

One thing mentioned during the first interview was the question about persistent multiplayer campaigns.
