Have GameRanger been mad on the press releases or something? PC Gamer reported the same thing about Halo just a few days ago and it seems obvious to me that a VPN tool will keep a game running beyond its years.
Well at least it will keep running somehow.

I think I've figured out why Gameranger is doing all this advertising... They know that people who play these games are going to be looking for an alternative, or giving up entirely. By plastering their name on every gaming news site, they're able to get a whole lot of new users. Keeping these communities alive is integral to their bottom line, and they're setting themselves up to more or less seamlessly take over most of these games' online components.
I wonder if they ever fixed that problem I and a ton of other people on their forum were having with GameRanger. The integrated ads crash me to crash like five seconds after I launch it, there was a huge thread on it that was made a couple years ago with no fix in it. I just wanted to play AoM :(
Does anybody know where I can find a copy of BF1942 without pirating it or buying it from Amazon? It got removed from Origin for some reason.

Believe it or not, I didn't send out any press releases for all this news coverage. Every time I've actually tried to get publicity in the past, no one has been interested. This time I didn't do anything, and it just spread like wildfire.
