This looks pretty fun actually, reminds me a lot of the Mana series combat-wise, but I guess that was the intent. And it has a demo avaliable, that's neat.
This looks incredibly promising.

Finished the Demo and it was really good, I really like the coop implementation too, the NPCs actually respond to other players and start using plural pronouns, something that's missing on most coop games I played! I'm completely sold!
I almost dismissed the game entirely based on the banner art. They should really change that, because this looks not as generic as one might believe upon first glance.
