Ok so Im trying to get a certain game to run but I keep having an error code popping up so Im checking to se what the graphics card is but I can't find the answer.I've checked on my system information and its not there so where the bloody hell is it?
Firstly - what operating system?
Secondly - If on windows, go to Control Panel and then Device Manager... It should be listed under Display Adapters.

Windows XP
And there is nothing called Display Adapters but I've noticed something with a yellow question mark next to it- Video Controller(VGA Compatible)
You could just go to Start > Run > "dxdiag" and click the Display tab.
I think you have an integrated video card, in which case it is probably not not good enough to run the game. What game is it?
And if you don't see any name on the display tab, you probably don't have the GPU drivers installed.
If you bought a prebuilt pc somewhere, ask them (or if they have a site, look over there)

That means the drivers for you graphics card aren't installed. Do you have a prebuilt machine or did you put the video card in yourself?
The system is using the generic video driver. Please install video driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.
The hell?

Prebuilt.
Wait, nevermind, if you're seeing "Video Controller" with a question mark like that, you probably son't have the drivers.
Edit: Ninja'd
Look up the model number of your machine on the manufacturer's website. 99% of the time, the drivers are available for download from their site.
And that's probably why your getting that error. Most games won't work if your using a generic driver.

Downloading VGA.zip
When I download it then do I go to Device Manager and select Video Controller and reinstall the driver?
Ok I've downloaded but when Im trying to select the Location to reinstall the driver it doesn't list the VGA.zip
