In your opinion, what is your favorite GTA game? Mine? Grand theft auto San Andreas. List below.
I sunk hours and hours into GTA2, probably more time than than any of the others. I don't even think it's the best one, but it's the one I remember most fondly.
I have a top 3 3. GTA Vice City for its characters and storyline. 2. GTA San Andreas because of the shitton of things to do (and storyline too). 1. GTA 2 for its crazy universe, characters, scifi stuff and announcer. I really wish they'd do another GTA set in GTA 2 universe.
Or, make a GTA 2 remake with HD graphics!
I'd be happy with them releasing it free like they did with GTA 1, but a remake or sequel would also make me pretty hard.
even though claude is a cool guy hes weird as fuck
GTA IV With police mods.
episodes from liberty city because there's more to do than in normal gta iv hmmm.. i loved vice city's world.. vice city is just downright badass
Vice City all the way.
Vice City has Burt Reynolds in it.
I have fond memories of gta 3 as it was my first gta game, but its been forever since i've played it so I don't know if its held up after so many years.
Vice City for the soundtrack, GTA 3 for everything except for soundtrack.
GTA IV is my favorite. Niko is a great character, and I love how they created a living, breathing city. Also, the attention to detail is amazing. San Andreas is a close second.

Hard question. When GTA I came... When GTA:London I and II came... They were the best! When GTA II came... It was the best! Then came the GTA III... It had new look and third person view. I liked it right away, and it was so good game. When GTA Vice city came... It was something. It was something so awesome... It was the masterpiece. When GTA: San andreas came... This was for the time, ultimate game and I guess I've still played it the most in Playstation and for PC. GTA IV was then something.. something.. so good. It was awesome too. GTA V is coming out this year... So, if the list goes like this... It will be the next big one. For my opinion, every GTA has been improved at it's development era. Hard to say which one is the best because new one is better than old one, but old one has done already something nostalgia.
Vice City, the first game I played in the series.
San Andreas. Though lately I've been addicted to Chinatown Wars, it's a lot of fun for a DS game.
San Andreas is objectively one of the best games ever
Vice City has Burt Reynolds in it.
Come in and park yourself on the hide, son! As for best GTA, V is gonna be the best, but for now Vice City for the best soundtrack ever and IV/EFLC for those funny physics and graphics.
Though lately I've been addicted to Chinatown Wars, it's a lot of fun for a DS game.
I played it on PSP, it's really good. I was surprised. It's made for the portable consoles and feels simply right, unlike Liberty City Stories for instance, which is just like GTA3 but very uncomfortable to play because it's not adapted for the PSP.
GTA 4 and GTA Vice City is my favourites.
I'd say Vice City followed up by San Andreas. San Andreas was more playable, but I loved the characters in Vice City. Also, Vice City Stories managed to be quite fun, too, especially for a PSP game. Oh, and GTA: London.
Vice City for it's atmosphere San Andreas for it's content IV for it's technology (and resulting fun)
all exept GTA advance, GTA1(with london), GTA Chinatown wars and GTAIV (these are the GTA's i didn't played yet)
GTA III, I will admit. Has lots of "nostalgic" value for me. Like the rest of the early PS2 games.
GTA: Vice City The Setting The Soundtrack The Characters It's all just too good, having Ray Liotta and Burt Reynolds helped too And I just love games with that style, which is another reason I love Hotline Miami.
Old school GTA's are still the best in my opinion, although I have a soft spot for IV/EFLC's driving and physics (don't really dig the dark and gritty tone though).

It's amazing how much effort they put into it.
GTA5 will most likely become my favorite when it comes out.
I've never had as much fun as in GTA San Andreas. There's so much stuff to do, and so many mods.
