I loved old sacred and got a demo of sacred 2 to try it out. It didn't seem as fun in the short time I played it though. Hopefully this will be better.
How is this compared to Diablo 3?

Not a big fan of Deep Silver, gonna hold my judgement until it's released and we see what kinda mess they attach to the game, I was not a fan of what they did to Risen 2.

Most ARPGs are better compared to Diablo 3.
Titan Quest being one of my favourites.

It's not really boring but it can get pretty tedious at times. However summoning a pissed off demon that wrecks everything in it's wake is fun. Then once everything is dead it comes and steamrolls your ass. :v:
