A complete and working game?
Wait he's left Dayz dev team now? I knew he was but didn't know when
Well, glad to see he's going forward after his time on DayZ. Also, let us remember the time he left, immortalized by his leaving statement. And while we're at it, let's watch and listen to it in its Co-Optional rendition.
Hall seems like a nice enough guy, but he hasn't really idone anything. He made a fairly basic mod for an existing game, and the main feature (zombies) was broken. He went on to turn it into a standalone game that is still more or less a mod, and said game is still pretty broken. DayZ was a good (if unoriginal) idea at the perfect time, but he has yet to show that he can, y'know, design games. I wish him all the best, but I'm not sure why he's big news.

Developing DayZ already meant he'd be staying in the Czech Republic far longer than he planning to. He went back to NZ with enough funds to start a game studio in his home country. It'll be interesting to see what he's cooking up next. He practically invented the freeroam survival genre.
