I don't want to spend over £700 but I already have a GTX 560ti which I can use so that should cut a chunk of the price off.
If you can fit a decent keyboard into the budget that would be nice but it isn't necessary. I should only really need 1TB of storage so there is no need to go overboard in that department.
I'll probably be wanting to play games like BF3, ARMA 2 and whatever other games are coming out in the next year or so on high I guess.

I'll need a dvd drive and an OS, I won't need any peripherals though. Does that CPU come with a heatsink or will I need one of those too?

It comes with one. However if you want to overclock you can always add a Hyper 212 EVO to the build easily.

Not really, if you've never build a pc before than watch Newegg's tutorial on Youtube.
Posting from my new computer. Had a little trouble with the hard drive when I tried to install windows but it seems to be sorted now.
