What does this mean? Virus Found: Troj/MBroot-I Informational: Detected boot sector virus Troj/Mbroot-I in //./PHYSICALDRIVE 0 I'm a bit worries about the last part, because I think it's saying I have a Trojan in my Physicaldrive or something. Should I be worried, or should I let Webroot finish the scan and just remove all the viruses?
Let it go and remove all the viruses.
Still curious what it mean though.
Detected a boot sector virus. Tada...
But what EXACTLY does it mean? What is the boot secotr?
It means this trojan would have initialized on boot up from the boot sector. The boot sector is the part of your HDD that is first read at startup.
Okay. I was just curious
