Welcome to CIPWTTKT&GC, this thread started out in 2009 as a thread to point and laugh at generally computer illiterate people who the poster had come across, over time however this has become a more general chat for the Hardware And Software forums with actual content similar to the original becoming a rarer breed.

No... It rebooted an hour after you send the signal because the upstream levels hit 54dBmV, not because of the signals.
