I would recommend it, as it's really well crafted but the balancing is so fucked in this game, which makes it unenjoyable. Be prepared that it takes 15 minutes even for the most simple fights. Others getting even longer. Every enemy, no matter how weak, comes in masses or it takes way too fucking long for a fight. You just can't take a break and you'll soon find yourself avoiding most fights. But that's stupid because you need them to level up.
Combat is a bit of a mixed bag, mostly due to some enormously overpowered enemy archers. The RPG elements and simple but enjoyably weird and excellently paced plot are absolutely worth it though. Don't be ashamed to play on the lowest difficulty, that's what I did.
Also, if you're interested in playing the non-enhanced edition, buying this also gives you a steam copy of the original Original Sin. Read some comments that the older one is a bit less messy with the balance, enhanced edition runs much better though with a 64-bit executable.
Fantastic co-op game too.
