I recommend the Barracuda over the WD Blue. It should be the same price or very close, and it's a bit faster.
I recommend the Barracuda over the WD Blue. It should be the same price or very close, and it's a bit faster.
I heard they're more reliable
I've heard the same, but I have to wonder if that's mostly because more people buy WD than Seagate. They both seem to get the same reviews except WD usually gets more i.e. both average the same but WD has more reviews in total. I haven't actually seen anything to indicate one is better than the other; although, in the end it doesn't make much of a difference since they are both mechanical 7200 RPM HDDs. My only personal experience is with a WD Blue and only for a few months; although, it has served me well.
The Seagate is faster, as he said, and reliability is right about equal. Seagate is generally the go-to drive for desktops at the moment, while WD is proving itself slightly superior for laptops atm.
7790 brother! It's a decent card and I'm satisfied with it, but do have plans to upgrade in the future. I say if you have a bit of extra cash, go for a bit higher of a Radeon.
