I need a new fan because my old one has just stopped working. I need recommendations for one that's from around 2003.

I have no idea, I took my computer apart when it was light out still, now it's dark and I'm supposed to be asleep, I guess I should've checked before posting. But I'll update the OP when I can tell.

Download speccy and tell us your motherboard model, we need to know what socket motherboard you have to suggest a cooler.
Or just tell us your cpu, whatever is easier for you.

No OS currently. And to top it off, it's missing it's parts, they're on the desk next to the PC.

I've had crappy lights that were dark enough that you couldn't read much in the light-- even fluorescents; it's hard to read with a really orange/dim light.
Make a fire and read the description.
