okay okay, I know there's already alot of topics about this, but I couldn't find any with search.
So I am looking for some good software for dual monitoring, and I have no idea what to use, I am new at this.
If there's any info you need (I don't think there is but what do I know?), ask for it.
assuming you're using windows, just plug them in and go.
you might then want to use ultramon - a cheap utility that allows you to span the taskbar, adds handy keyboard shortcuts etc - definitely worth the money.
i think there's a free alternative but i have no experience with it.
if you're using linux, it can be a little more of a faff.
if you're using something that's quite easy to use like ubuntu you can probably just plug them in.
if not you might have to fiddle around a little.
maybe we should just talk like this.
or maybe like this
and possibly like this
because i think it's cool
why? because mike does

Also I have to make it so my second monitor is to the left and not right, how do I do this in windows 7?
go into screen resolution, drag the monitor you want on the left from the right position and hit apply.
Oh, thank you :D
you're welcome
Use Display Fusion.Better than Ultramon.
