• GPU Changing to 2D profile of it self.

Yo. I've had a problem for a while now. I think I've found out what's going on. It seems my GPU is switching down to 2d profile or something. So the core clock, shader clock memory clock, everything more or less, lowers it self. Core clock for example should be around 800. It lowers to 405 first, and then again to 51. There also is some bug when i user Afterburner or Precision. If i use one first, to monitor, and then open the other one. The clocks etc will go up to normal in both programs for a few seconds, and then return to low profile. I've gone to Nvidia Control Panel and set Power Management mode to Prefer maximum performance, which some people said helped in similar cases. (I haven't really found anyone with exactly similar cases because most people have been overclocking. I have not been overclocking.
Does it speed up when you run games and shit? Or is it downclocking all the time?
The driver switches to 2D acceleration when 3D acceleration is not needed. Also, you shouldn't use tools like Afterburner or Precision. They add absolutely no (noticeable) performance to games, the overclock feature is complete bullshit. If you want a bit more performance, lower or turn off a couple of features in the Nvidia control panel at the 3D settings section.
