Hi. I currently live in norway, and my current mouse (which is shit) feels like it needs replacing. I am looking one that is suited for gaming. So, Please help?
G500 or MX518.

The MX518 is ancient, but it's still a good mouse. The G500 is pretty much a more modern version of the classic 518.
G700 I have it and love it

Logitech G9 or G5, both are great. I personally avoid Razer mice because they're so damn light compared to the Logitech G5/9. But they're great when that doesn't bother you.

MX518. Still the best mouse to this day.
G500.

I got it as a gift from my godfather 2 or 3 years ago. Comfortable, sensitive. I don't like the way the material holds fingerprints, but it's easily cleaned. Weight feels fine to me, if it was a concern I would mod it. G500 5700 max DPI, 5 adjustable DPI settings, comfortable, adjustable weight, two scroll modes, extra programmable buttons, and possibly the only Logitech mouse that doesn't look like complete shit What's not to like

MX518 would be better if it didn't have that stupid design
MX518 would be better if it didn't have that stupid design
Yeah because looks totally matter when your hand is going to be covering it, and like it would matter anyway? On my my g9x I have it my dpi levels set to 600, 800, 1200. Also I do recommend the g9x, really nice mouse, bit expensive though.
I love my G500, tracks way better than my old 518.
No, it doesn't.
I don't see why Death adders are so bad. I got mine for 5$.
ITT: Odellus- 518 is better than G500 because optical is obviously better than laser and a shitton of features
actually I see/hear fairly often that the 518 is better than the G500 in terms of performance and weights, free scrolling and a few extra buttons isn't really a "shitton" that said, I love my G5 and probably wouldn't notice any difference in tracking between it and the MX518
ITT: Odellus- 518 is better than G500 because optical is obviously better than laser and a shitton of features
Can you read? [editline]9th December 2010[/editline] I love it when people defend something in complete ignorance just because they own it.
ITT: Odellus- 518 is better than G500 because optical is obviously better than laser and a shitton of features
Both are good mice and Odellus is entitled to his opinion.

And I went and read that article. [editline]9th December 2010[/editline] The first time you posted it.

[editline]9th December 2010[/editline] Hey Slithersoul: http://www.esreality.com/?a=longpost&id=1265679&page=1
Dead wrong. CPI and update rate have everything to do with how accurate a mouse is, and your link is almost FIVE years old. Tracking is a little different now. Try using one of those 1:1 on a screen larger than 22" and welcome to instant fail.

Razer Abyssus, it's what I'm getting for Xmas and getting it cheap at $47 (sale at EB games)
