• Headphone + Sound card = Super Low Sound

Ok, so I got Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, a Steelseries 7H headset that I got today and a Creative X-FI XtremeGamer sound card. But the volume is incredibly low, I can only hear the DING sound as a faint sound in the distance which is hardly hearable at all, but I can hear the TEST sound relatively OK (but they should be fucking loud at this volume). I have set all levels there are to set at 100%, I have tried all the 3 different jacks the sound card delivers. I have re-installed the drivers. I have tested the setup as both Headphones, 7.1 and 2.1 with no difference. The Headphones have a good volume when I plug them in to the integrated motherboard that runs on the Realtek HD drivers so there is no problem with them, and the sound card must work properly since the settings do affect it and it does deliver some sound, albeit super low. An odd thing to mention is that the only volume slider that does a difference is "Play Control". "S/PDIF-In", "MIDI Synth", "Line-In", "Auxilary", and "Microphone" has NO effect, which is odd since "Line-In" is where it is plugged in after all. Anyone got some suggestions or answers?
32 Ohm impedance... Should be fine without an amplifier :/ Tried it in another sound card or audio device yet?
Tried it in another sound card or audio device yet?
Edited that in just a minute ago. The integrated sound card in the motherboard works just fine.
I dunno, sounds like a faulty sound card to me then.
