• Getting work back after BSOD?

Fuck. If someone can help me with this, I'll love you forever. I've been working on a little project of mine in photoshop for a few hours now and everything was going great. Since my computer has been acting wacky lately I decided to save my work just in case. Lo and behold, about 10 seconds after I save my work, my computer Blue Screens. I was estatic since I know I didn't lose my anything... That soon came to an end. I started my computer back up and went to open the file... Everything looks good, right? :siren:FUCKING WRONG:siren: This is now what the file looks like. Please oh please computer geniuses of Facepunch, tell me there is a way to get my 4+ hours of work back.
I don't think you can get it back. That's why you save frequently and not once every 4 hours.
Gotta love write caching. Also by turning the machine back on you have removed any small chance there may have been of recovering an old version.
Is there a way t completely turn off and disable write-caching in Windows 7? I absolutely hate it.
