Okay well the other thread inspired me to make a how to build your computer and upgrade video card ^_^ [img_thumb]http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/6213/1228102215.jpg[/img_thumb] First we start with a graphics card, I have a 5750 here [img_thumb]http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/4091/1228102215a.jpg[/img_thumb] Now ati cards get very hot, almost as hot as fermi's, which is why I will be freezing it in water, or as the pro's call it "water cooling" [img_thumb]http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/3925/1228102216.jpg[/img_thumb] in you go! This form of water cooling is pretty good, but as I do not have LED's (blue of course) I need to freeze it so I can play high end games.... [img_thumb]http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/9511/1228102216a.jpg[/img_thumb] In you go! [img_thumb]http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/3971/1228102217.jpg[/img_thumb] while that is freezing let us install the CPU or "chip" [img_thumb]http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/7389/1228102217a.jpg[/img_thumb] NOTE: I recomend putting most electronics in a high staticly charged area, I am on a carpet wearing socks, find this gives me alot of shocks, but think about it. The word electrons is in electronics, must be good for them! [img_thumb]http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/2143/1228102218.jpg[/img_thumb] Now we just put CPU where it calls for the chip [img_thumb]http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/3517/1228102218a.jpg[/img_thumb] At this point closing that bracket, maybe difficult, I recommend a hammer or screwdriver to pound it in there [img_thumb]http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/2432/1228102221.jpg[/img_thumb] next is installing the gfx card [img_thumb]http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/5884/1228102222.jpg[/img_thumb] I had to cut some golden teeth off to make it fit, but finally got it [img_thumb]http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/518/1228102225.jpg[/img_thumb] Next is ram, I had to do the same technique as the gfx card [img_thumb]http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/7183/1228102228.jpg[/img_thumb] Next is the power cords, even a monkey could do this LOL [img_thumb]http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/4258/1228102256.jpg[/img_thumb] Finally the CD/HDD combo, I self hacked it and made the door thingy go away so I can load dvds and stuff in like a fancy one [img_thumb]http://img547.imageshack.us/img547/593/1228102230.jpg[/img_thumb] You're finished! I recommend installing a free windows knock off like ubuntu or windows 7 ultimate edition [highlight](User was banned for this post ("Parody / bad attempt at being funny." - birkett))[/highlight]
Please tell me you did that with broken parts... and you didnt try to turn it on...
