Literally just an xbox controller
With gyro controls, NFC, and HD rumble if I'm not mistaken.
And A+B and X+Y swapped. I wonder if A still reads as A or if it's still the same positioning as an Xbox controller.
This is a nice surprise. I might consider using the controller with games that don't work with Steam Controller so well. Too bad the triggers aren't analog.
That is actually neat, unfortunately it's rather expensive to be honest.
I wonder when Valve will add Big Picture support

Somehow doubt the non-standard features will work with any games on PC anyways.
is it directinput or xinput?

I bought a wii mote for my pc and got it to work.
Yeah but how does it taste?
Yet another controller with asymmetric stick placements. I'll keep my dualshock 4, thanks though. It's not even about left handed people either it's 100% a comfort thing to me. Holding a controller in that asymmetric layout is 100% uncomfortable to me personally.

at this point i'm eventually expecting someone to go all Naked Snake parody and capture gaming accessories in the wild to see how they taste

I play with both an Xbox controller and a Dualshock 4 regularly and I don't notice a difference at all with the stick placement.

You're lucky then. I'm sure I'm probably a minority on this one but to me personally it's just not as comfortable to hold a controller in the xbox style lay-out.

I think he means the HD rumble stuff mostly. I don't see how a controller could intelligently map the rumble to existing games itself, but I guess people could build custom games to use the controllers abilities.
