Not surprised, but I did get a bit into investing in cryptocurrencies because of this and as of right now I've doubled my initial investment. As long as you handle cryptocurrency like penny stocks everything is really predictable.

I got some free bitcoin years ago and now it's at $35 in value.
If it wasn't so complicated and expensive to actually sell it I'd probably have hopped off the train with my complete net profit of like $20 I would've gotten earlier this month.
