I don't really play CSGO much but I'm really curious as to what these small adjustments might translate to in terms of re-balance. Seemingly insignificant changes can sometimes have profound effects, like the coils on de_inferno.
Looks pretty damn good.

Rotating to middle from the Bombsite B's dark room will be more dangerous. The architecture change thwarts some one-way nades. Moving the pole a few feet forward from the barrels makes sniping from that position safer. The big box and the barrels from Bombsite A had a severe nerf, Long now belongs to the T side, all hail your new AWP overlords.
I freakin' love the visual changes. They continue to amaze me how they can take old map layouts and refurbish them from a 'video game level' into actual, believable places, yet looking beautiful.

I tried to interact with the sliding comparison images at first then realized pcgamer had posted static screenshots of the actual sliding comparison images from the valve article :v:
It definitely has that cleaner look like the other remakes, tho' those shadows in the blog's second image are crazy.
You can also see the pictures in more detail via valve's article. The new design for A looks real pretty, and I dig the mix of themes and eras going on. B is an ancient kasbah overrun by modern buildings dotted by dozens of satellite antennas, A is a fancy hotel. It's come quite a long way.
