It's an okay game, but it lagged horrifically once I had a decent sized city.
Wasn't this the game where the only way to win was by setting up a massive oil industry?
I like this game a lot. However, I got the previous version, and I'm trying to find out from Steam Support whether the 50% loyalty bonus from owning the first one applies to the second game during this sale.
I'll gladly get it for $5, if I can. Supposedly the 2011 version fixes some of the memory leaks and re-enables all the content that used to be MMO-only, so it performs a lot better.
It's a pretty decent game. The best part about it though is the soundtrack.
Is this worth £7.50 (About 12 dollars) guys?
It depends what you're looking for. If it's a SimCity4 clone, then no.
It's a unique game that's sort of based upon a management system and keep a city flowing. More SimCity 2000 / 3000 without all the annoying advisors and whatsnot. It's really though for it to go tits up in that game.
Didn't Cities XL (not 2011) have a sale like a week ago.
I've heard this had little strategy in it.
Does it?

In terms of sheparding people around, yep.
Fucking traffic problems.

It's still not as bad as some other city sims out there, just build loads of underground highways and bus routes.
I really hope they release the metro DLC before they go bankrupt again.
