There are always limits to what AI can do in blocking someone.
What'll it do? Disable chat?
What'll it do? Disable chat?
Seems like it's a tool that checks for any negative charged messages and instantly times you out. Very interesting to see that it was used during the DNC and RNC streams. The way the chat was moderated was very.. robotic in nature. But, it did make a good chat environment, so I guess it's fine?
It's not going to be the same without the toxic chat. It's what keeps me coming back.
you can get the general mood of a message on a value of -1 to 1, with -1 being negative and 1 being positive good luck turning that into a toxicity meter
Doesn't seem luke the best idea. Sentiment analysis on chat messages or microblogs is not always accurate. Plus sarcasm is likely to be picked up as negative by a machine. What it could help with is filtering messages like "kill youself" etc
R9K for twitch when? [editline]13th December 2016[/editline] wait... no way!
R9K for twitch when?
twitch has an r9k mode, it doesn't work because people just add zeros to the front of their message ie CS LUL 0CS LUL 00CS LUL 000CS LUL

But, honestly we all know it won't and it will just detect sarcasm as an actual mean spirited message and just delete it. Anyways, I saw it live in both the DNC and RNC streams they did their job rather perfectly.
Given text has no tonality, being sarcastic in a message is kind of dumb anyway unless you make it overtly clear.
