I need a paypal account, but I can't verify it, because I don't have a credit card. Is there any way to get around this?
Also, if I use my bank account, will it show up anywhere on my bank records?
Using a prepaid card which you can easily buy in any store is probably the best workaround.
And what do you mean by bank records? Like if they know what you are buying or using Paypal?

Most prepaid credit cards have dedicated web page for you to check your spending history and such

uh yes? you'll have withdrawals that look like this on your bank account record if you attach it to your bank account(which you should do fyi)

He's right. When you verify it, paypal withdraws $2 with the comment "PAYPAL#1234#" or something similiar.
They get refunded when you have verified it. It really takes like 1 day to verify, or less if you're lucky.
Verification takes one minute, if you're logged into the online estatement page the moment you entered your credit card info

Paypal can permanently limit (read: ban) your account(s) and hold your funds for up to 6 month if they find out.
You won't be able to use any bank/credit card link to that account anymore, and if you tries to create more account, they'll also be limited soon after creation.
