I got iTunes yesterday and it's fantastic. I wanted to utilize the store last night, so I entered my AppleID and followed the on screen instructions to use the store. It came to the part to enter my card information, and for some reason it keeps rejecting my card saying this error: 'Your payment method was declined. Please enter valid payment method information'
My question is this; Is a Visa debit card (like so) an acceptable form of payment on the iTunes store? and if so, what is this error and why am I getting it? I've made sure I've entered my information correctly and I'm constantly getting this error. Any help?
I don't believe you can use debit cards online

You can. you need to charge it as a credit card & not as debit. I don't know what the problem is here
maybe a bank-specific problem. I'm w/ Chase and have never had issues w/ online purchases
I remember the same thing when I first got my MacBook (and iTunes with it).
I can't quite remember how it was resolved, but I think activating an iTunes card finally made it store the debit card's details so it now allows me to buy stuff with my debit card.

Where can I get an iTunes card? (I assume you're not talking about a gift card).

Yes, I am talking about those cards you can buy in shops with values like '£15', '£30'.
Debit card I used along with it:

If you're at college or something make sure you have the correct billing address, otherwise it won't accept it.
