As the title states, I have £1000ish to spend on a new computer, this is what I have come up with. I already have a suitable Keyboard, mouse, speakers and 64-bit Windows 7. Is this alright, is the mobo suitable? (Just a note, I would like to keep the fan I've chosen.)
(Just a note, I would like to keep the fan I've chosen.)
why. [editline]06:28PM[/editline] please for the love of sense don't say "looks"
Buy your parts from ebuyer. They don't charge shipping and the CPU alone is £5 cheaper there.
why. [editline]06:28PM[/editline] please for the love of sense don't say "looks"
Looks
Looks
Well you will be severely disappointed when you find out it won't fit your socket.
i5 750 = Socket 1156 Cooler = Socket 775 or AM2 Don't buy an aftermarket cooler; the one included with the retail i5 you have chosen is perfectly capable if you won't be overclocking.

That makes it totally worth it not work on your cpu.
you wouldn't even see it in the HAF...
you wouldn't even see it in the HAF...
That is exactly what I was thinking.
people who rave about windows and lights in cases being pointless would have a field day if they saw someone with that
people who rave about windows and lights in cases being pointless would have a field day if they saw someone with that
True, my question is who wants a full tower sitting on there desk so they can ever see that cooler?
Ok statch the HAF, thinking Antec 900v2 [editline]08:51PM[/editline] Yes, there is a glass panel and you can see the CPU fan through it.

OP if you go ahead and buy that fan then you deserve the result

Coming out Q2 2010 OCs nice, might be a winner!
If he doesn't even want to listen, why bother helping him?
Looks
My good sir, (well troll actually) I've had that cooler, and it sucks shit ass balls. I bought it in CompUSA one day, put it on my E8400 (4.6GHz) and did worse than my shit ass balls thermaltake cooler. Its crap its crap its crap! No matter HOW many times I reseated, re-applied TIM, it always sucked. Waste of cash.
