That isn't enough to bring me back. EA managed put f2p gamers in a fucking disadvantage which drove most of them away.

Many people aren't aware you can remove most of the major restrictions with in game credits. Not saying its a great F2P system or anything, because it isn't. But you can't look at the game's state and say they drove their players away.

EA delaying an expansion to add more features based on feedback from the user base? I guess pigs really can fly.
I think TOR is worth the subscription now, but only if you hadn't already bought it for $60. Right now it's decent enough, but only if you sub. It is absolutely not worth it if you're a Free 2 Player because absolutely everything is behind a paywall, from hiding your helmet, having a title over your name, to doing more than a couple of flashpoints or PvP battles per WEEK Also load times are offputting, still. Even on my SSD Tatooine takes longer than my computer takes to completely boot up off my HDD
The idea of guild's being able to conquer planets for perks/buffs sounds enticing, it definitely put this expac on my guild's radar now. Combined with guild flagships offering buffs/perks it looks like we'll have some sort of twisted version of WoW's guild levels.

You can get around most F2P restrictions with in game credits although I agree a lot of the restrictions will really put you off if you are a new player trying it out for the first time and a lot of the UI and customization unlocks really aren't needed and do nothing more than annoy people.
