I think it is far to late for brink now. I got brink for 20 dollars off of amazon and played it for a few days. It gets fairly boring after a while, you unlock all the stuff and there is nothing left to do. Hardly anyone plays it now.
Played it at a friend's place, thank god I didn't buy it. Total waste of money.
Bought it thinking there was going to be a campaign with a story. Turned out to be a purely multiplayer game with no way to play alone. Haven't played it since the day it came out.
It was fun for a week or 2, got boring quickly. I might play again when the DLC comes out.

I really thought that Brink would do well.
