7zip also works well for ISO files.

7zip doesn't mount ISOs.
Daemon tools works fine, just remember not to install sponsors.
If you install Deamon Tools don't get the search bar, it's Spyware.

I use magicdisk ( a.k.a MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM ). simple, free, effective!

It's like Daemon tools, but freeware.
I acutally am using a very light, free ISO mounting program. It's built into the shell, so double clicking an ISO brings up a menu (optional, you can set it to automatically choose the first drive letter available and skip the menu altogether) which lets you choose which drive letter you want to mount it to.
To eject the ISO, right click the new CD drive that appears in Computer and select Eject.
