My friend has a few of the guitar heroes on PC, and said he'd let me borrow them, but I don't have a controller, and his broke (why he's letting me borrow the games).
I've been looking for a cheap used one online and on craigslist, but I can't find any that say for PC unless it's the whole game for $60+, but I can find plenty of PS3\Xbox 360 ones for cheap.
If I were to get one one of them, would it work on my computer without me having to buy more shit?
I wouldn't really mind needing to get some software like a gamepad emulator, but would I need anything else?
Not sure if this belongs in general games or Hardware and Software.

I did, I couldn't find anything that said if it did or not. If you can tell me yes or no if I were to tell you what number it's from, why not just tell me which numbers will?
If the guitars work in any way like the rockband counterpart they should be fine.
Pretty sure GH and RB are compatible with each other, so I guess that's a yes.
My GH2 controller for the 360 works fine on the pc.
