So according to this article, the only improvements made over the 3DS are the larger/brighter screens and a "click" when the 3D function is completely turned off. Yeah, I'm sticking with my 3DS.
After owning a galaxy note, the tiny ass screen on the 3ds is a joke. I will be doing gamestop's 3ds upgrade thing to get the XL at a discount of around 100 dollars or something like that
If one has a 3DS already, especially Ambassadors, there's no reason or merit to switching to the XL unless one really wants a smoother-feeling product, apparently. Also, the Select, Home and Start buttons were terrible on the 3DS and it seems they still can't quite get it right with the XL. What's so difficult about three buttons that are kinda-sorta essential in some cases?
Now Hulk can play aswell!
I can't wait for this to come out, since I don't have a 3ds yet.
If anything, this would be beneficial to my mother who has trouble with playing games on small devices. This XL version doesn't really have much use to me though.
Yeah, I'm sticking with my 3DS. Extra battery life is cool and all, but I'm not a fan of making portable gaming less portable.

If you already have one than there is really no need in buying a 3DS XL. Hell, it's only being advertised as a alternative to the normal one. As I'm playing mostly at home the XL version is perfect for me.
I've still got an original DS. Touchscreen feel like sandpaper from all the scratches, both sound and recognition don't work half the time, and it doesn't even recognize GBA games anymore. Pretty much only use it as an alarm clock and light now. Maybe I should upgrade now.
